Small Libraries Project

BrentwoodMeet is using old and abandoned newspaper distributors. These neglected structures will be cleaned and adorned with eye-catching signage. While only a select few will be used, Brentwoodmeet will turn them into mini-libraries filled with books donated by community members. Let’s create a book exchange. We are looking for all your unused books (children’s books included.)

The Payphone Project

BrentwoodMeet is also working on the restoration of the unique old, unused phone booth on San Vicente at Barrington, preserving a piece of history for future generations. We plan to repaint and clean the booth and create an engaging narrative about payphones, targeting the Millennials, the Z and the Alphas generations. We plan to highlight how these once-ubiquitous devices were used in the past. To complete the exhibit, we are looking for an old handset. If you happen to have one, consider donating it to help bring this historical display to life.
